On-demand self-service: A user can freely provision computer capabilities such as network storage, server time, and so on as needed. Each service provider can be contacted for any of these without any direct personal interaction.
Broad network access: Client platforms, such as workstations, laptops, smartphones, and tablets, are used to access and promote capabilities that are made available over a network by means of standard procedures.
Resource pooling: Utilizing a multi-tenant approach, the service provider’s computing resources are pooled based on consumer demand to serve a variety of customers. Both physical and virtual resources are dynamically assigned and reassigned in response to demand.
Rapid elasticity: It refers to scalable provisioning. It is the capability to quickly deliver scalable services for both internal and external audiences in line with customers’ demands.
Measured service: This is a service in which cloud service providers track or measure the performance of services for a variety of reasons, such as billing, optimal resource utilization, or overall predictive planning.
