Family and friends frequently bombard you with inquiries. Sometimes you can’t respond to all of their inquiries quickly. It’s essential to be able to manage both taking care of the patient and responding to those queries.
Sample Answer
“I take the initiative by demonstrating empathy. I’m aware that I must provide them with the most accurate information I can. I do, however, make an effort to be considerate in my responses and put myself in their position. I try to set limits and avoid being enabling because I know I can’t respond to all of their questions.”
There, you have the perfect answer! You made a sincere effort to accommodate the patient’s needs. You also mentioned establishing limits, which is important.
